A pre-built gaming pc under 1500 simply means a computer that already has installed high-end components, so that you don’t have to worry about purchasing parts and assembling them. The reason SkyTech Archangel 3.0 occupies the first spot on the best gaming pc under the 1500 list is that it has everything you need for an immersive gaming experience along with easy upgradability.

This Archangel 3.0 has some of the best hardware which fits in this price range. The processor, RAM, graphics card are just perfect for maxing out the fps on every game. This is why this pc has gained so much popularity due to its affordability and complete features.

The amount of RAM you get on this machine is 16 GB DDR4 RAM, which is actually a big deal for a gaming pc under 1500 dollars. However, that’s not the only thing that makes it stand out from other machines in this price range, its processor and graphics card are also quite good.

The processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core which is clocked at 4.2 GHz, and well-paired to the 16GB DDR4 3000 RAM ensures that you can play all games at high to maxed-out settings. Even though the processor’s clock speed is not really outstanding for this price range, however, there are two things that make it stand out, first its hyper-threading technology which allows the CPU to handle more tasks by working on 8 hardware threads at once.

Moreover, for storage, it has a 500GB SSD which is more than enough to store all your games and other data. Whereas the graphics card of this gaming pc under 1500 is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, this card has a clock speed of 1680 MHz, and its GDDR6 memory runs at 1750MHz. All these specs sound really good, and the gaming performance of this pc is also very impressive.

Overall, the SkyTech Archangel 3.0 is a very good value for money gaming pc. It looks really sleek and has decent hardware which can handle all games at high settings. You can even play games on ultra settings if you reduce the resolution to 1080p or less.

Processor: Intel Core i7-10700F | Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 | Storage: 1TB SSD | RAM: 16GB DDR4

Next comes the MSI Aegis R Gaming Desktop (10TC-087US) which is a gaming pc under 1500 which in my opinion it has a better selection of hardware than the Acer Predator G1-710-70001. It’s a higher end model and comes with an awesome design.

Moreover, it includes an MSI VR Ready NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GDDR6 Graphics Card, Lighting Effects Pre-installed which is now considered as one of the best graphics cards (in terms of performance and value) for gaming pc in this price range. You can play all games in an ultra setting.

Moreover, it has 16GB DDR4 RAM (3000 MHz) which is more than enough to play all games at ultra setting. I am currently using this beast for over a week and everything is working perfectly.

Although it does not come with HDD as HDD has been long obsolete, it comes with 1TB SSD which is currently the best and most popular storage for gaming pc especially budget gaming pcs. Storage is more than adequate to install a lot of games and run them without any lag.

Whereas, the Intel Core i7-10700F processor clocked at 4.8GHz is perfect for demanding game titles like Witcher 3 or other graphics new complex titles. If you run a task manager and check the CPU and GPU usage, you can see maxed out at 100% which shows how powerful this pc is. The only downside of this pc is it does not have a backlit keyboard and a USB 3.1 port but then again, there’s nothing that cannot be solved with some additional cash. Overall, the MSI Aegis R Gaming Desktop (10TC-087US) is a great pc under 1500 dollars.

7. Mytrix Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming Desktop

Processor: Intel Core i5-10400F 6-Core | Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super | Storage: 500GB SSD + 2TB HDD | RAM: 16GB DDR4

Another beauty prebuilt gaming pc under 1500 that I have here for you guys not other than the Mytrix Gamer Xtreme, a solid build with a lot of power to play the latest games at medium-high settings for now let’s proceed on with our review.

Starting with the design, this desktop is absolutely stunning love the red and black color scheme not that flashy but still looks very cool from the case front from inside to outside, also pretty much a solid build, a decent design which you can see on the image above.

The processor for this one is Intel Core i5-10400F 6 core 4.3GHz transforming your pc into a fast and powerful one of the best i5 for gaming I suggest, and with Hyper-Threading you can enjoy up to 8 threads.

Moreover, the Graphics Card of Mytrix Gamer Xtreme that is powering this machine is GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB DDR6 that has enough power to play most games at high settings (see what games you can play on this pc here ), and with VR Ready not only that your PC will be ready for the future VR but also enjoy playing Virtual Reality Games.

The Ram is 16GB DDR4 located in a single stick which is okay, don´t put it dual channel because this RAM does not support it unlike most of the expensive gaming pcs. Furthermore, the HDD is 2TB standard widely used, not too fast but it will be more than enough to store your games and multimedia files. However, the performance side is covered with the 500GB SSD here.

Now for this Mytrix Gamer Xtreme review, we are going to use it in real life, so if your games on medium-high settings, with Mytrix Gamer Xtreme, you will be able to play most of your favorite games on high settings, major titles like Overwatch, Battlefield 1, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, etc. runs very smoothly not choppy at all, but if you plan on gaming with 4K resolution or VR, unfortunately, I don´t think this pc it will handle those because it will start to lag, but if you are on a budget and want to play games at 1080p resolution you can totally do it with this beasty gaming pc.

Well, guys for this Mytrix Gamer Xtreme, putting $1500 on the table is no waste because you are getting a good value for your money in terms of performance, you can play almost any game in medium-high settings at 1080p resolution. If VR or 4K gaming is not an option for now this desktop will be a great option with the amazing price tag.

8. ROG Strix GA15DH Gaming PC

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X | Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER | Storage: 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD | RAM: 8GB DDR4

Check Price on Amazon

Last comes the ASUS ROG Strix GA15 Gaming PC. Asus included a GeForce GTX GPU and AMD processor in this model. You can also opt for a different variant that ships with better hardware components. Whichever model you choose, you’ll get a lot of power for the price.

For this specific model, the processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X six-core with eight gigs of RAM. You can opt for a variant that ships with better processors and graphics cards, but otherwise the Strix GA15 comes packed with all the essentials you need to enjoy using it regardless of what you plan to do on your PC.

On the other hand, for storage, 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD are included for your games and multimedia files. I was quite impressed by the Asus ROG Strix GA15 Gaming PC specs. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB graphics card, which is typically found in expensive gaming pcs, is housed in this compact desktop machine. You get the Ryzen 5 3600X processor with 8 GB of RAM for multitasking duties.

Other features include a DVD-RW drive, Ethernet connectivity, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0 support. There are also four USB 3.0 ports for your gaming peripherals as well as two of the newer USB 3.1 type-A ports for quick transfer speeds from external devices such as SSDs or high-performance flash drives.

The Asus ROG Strix GA15 runs on Windows 10 Home 64-bit out of the box and features a blue case accentuated by red LEDs for additional flair. The front panel sports two USB 2.0 ports, digital audio jacks, headphone/mic input ports as well as buttons to control your system fans. You can opt for a variant that ships with better hardware components.

On the other hand, if you do want better performance from this PC, your best option is to switch out the included components with higher-performing ones. You can do that easily given the GA15’s open-frame design, meaning it is easy to pop in new hardware when you are ready for an upgrade. In short, Asus ROG Strix GA15 has proved itself to be the best-prebuilt gaming pc that performs well and shows no mercy for the newest titles.

Building A Gaming PC Under $1500

In this blog post I will show you how to build a gaming pc under $1500 that can run games smoothly on 4k resolution. In order to achieve that you will need to change some parts of the configuration as it is shown in the schematic, but if you follow my suggestions below, your new computer should be able to play most of the new games on ultra settings with no less than 40 fps.

It should work fine even for your favorite MOBA/MMO game, as well as other titles like GTA 5, Rocket league and much more! I used this build to play all the latest games on high-ultra settings at resolutions 1080p without any problems even on 144hz monitors.

NOTE: If you don’t plan to play games in 1080p or 4k I suggest that you downgrade some components and upgrade others, to get a better value for your money!

Corsair 4000D is a very good mid-tower case that comes with three fans, enough to keep your computer cool.

Processor and RAM

The build features the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and comes with 16GB of TEAMGROUP T-Force Night Hawk RGB 3600MHz, which should be enough for most gamers, but you can replace it with Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 32GB if you want more.

Motherboard and Graphics Card

I recommend the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus alongside the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 card which replaces the RTX 2060 4GB which is great because the RTX 3060 isn’t that different from the other high-end GPUs but you will save around $120.

Power Supply

The PSU of this computer is EVGA Super Nova GA 750(cheaper option) and features a really good semi-modular design. It’s not modular as a full modular power supply, but it’s not as bad as a non-modular PSU.

Storage Component

As for the hard drive, I chose Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 because it is more than enough for any gamer on a budget. You can also get a better-performing HDD like the WD Blue 1TB if you want more storage space, but it will reduce your overall PC performance.

Operating Sytem

Windows 10 64-bit (for gaming) OS. Windows 7 or 8 will work too but they aren’t optimized for gaming. I may be biased but I feel like Windows 10 is the best option right now.

Total cost

A total of around $1500 is what you’re going to pay for this build. This means that it can be under $1000 if you compromise a little on the hardware. I am sure that there are some parts of it that you don’t like, so feel free to comment your opinion below!

Building a PC is not always easy and it can be time-consuming. If you want to avoid the hassle of doing it yourself, prebuilt PCs under $1500 are the spot you need to look for. if you don’t have enough knowledge about which components fit together in order to deliver optimal performance, choosing a high-quality prebuilt gaming pc under $1500 is always the best way to go.

For only $1,500 you can get a custom-built PC that has a better performance compared to any other gaming console available on the market. In addition, it will last for years without an issue as long as you don’t try to upgrade it from your side. Speaking of upgrades, you also have the option of increasing performance even further by adding more components. That’s something manuals do not offer!

We put together this list based on several factors including build quality, upgrade options, brand history, and customer feedback. You can rest assured that all products in our prebuilt PCs under $1500 list are safe to recommend to your friends and family.
